In Jerusalum, there was rejoicing on the streets as the Jewish people proclaimed their thanks, one joyous resident of the West Bank said "I have travelled many a mile to be here to show my thanks to slrooke. What I would have done without this Facebook group being created I know not".
The United Nations were unavailable, however it is thought that Kofi Annan was considering recommending slrooke for the Nobel Peace Prize for his amazing gesture.
