What do you do with your old consoles?

I have 5 lying around at the moment:

2 x X Box
1 x Playstation
1 x N64
1 x Game Cube

I never use them and they're all pretty battered and so I doubt I would get much for them on Ebay (I can't be bothered to box them up and post them either).

Is the best thing to do to take them all to a charity shop or is there some sort of specific recycle option?

N64 in particular might fetch you a few quid if you have the right selection of games. No real recycling procedure, charity shops would make good use of them though

If he cba to box them up and stick them in the post I doubt he can be bothered to go and set up a table in a muddy field tbh.

Another option, especially at this time of year, might be to donate them to a local childrens charity or even the church, as both work to get some form of Christmas presents to disadvantaged kids.

Don't think giving them to disadvantaged kids is the right move, they wouldn't be able to afford any games.
