potential: Adam Johnson, i think there might be better players with potential but no-one has mentioned him yet and i think he could be awesome. Immediately looked Watford's best player so far this season with ease

Downing's not as a bad as people think, he was never the next best thing, just a decent left midfielder, with a decent left foot. Nothing more nothing less. Peoples expectations were too high of him.
I really don't rate Nani in ManU terms, I just think he will be an average player, certainly never worth £17m. If he was 18 i would be impressed but hes 21 and im not sure he'll be great as everyone thinks.
