Default Stadium seating collapses in Brazil - at least 8 dead

Breaking news on that bastion of breaking news, Sky News.

Take WC2014 away from them, place a shambles, etc.

Cannot find any interweb linkage as of yet. Over to you for the latest, PMLF.

1) Third Division game

2) This stadium won't be used for the WC. A new one is already planned to built there.

But if it makes Sky News, it MUST deserve its own thread.

PMLF, I was joking about the 2014 reference. Honest.

I suspected you were joking, but some people will/would say nonsense anyway, as they will think that this problem is happening in all stadiums and that the WC is doomed already. :thdn:

2005, along with Vitória (their arch-rivals).

But Bahia got promotion today for next year's 2nd Division and Vitória was promoted to Second Division in 2006 and to the 2008's first division this year.

The photo from the other thread.

Just in case you can't make out the massive hole, they've put a ring around it.

My comment was merely a reflection of the jumped up numpties at Sky and the UK press in general, who clamber on this sort of thing and use it to make English football look great, etc and anything foreign completely inferior. Even the Sunday Times were bordering on xenophobia this morning in their clamour for Harry Redknapp to be England manager ahead of Capello et al.
