good draw for England that, if they get themselves a competent maanger they'll get through as winners.

Croatia are good, but a good manager makes England a bit better I think - they'd certainly have a much harder time against any of the other top seeds bar Greece.

and again, we had a much harder qualification group for euro 2008. germany, czech better than holland and romania. holland struggled, only beating luxemburg 1-0 at home and losing to belarus 2-1. that was at the end. before that there were results, and a team of hollands calibure should really be beating romania. romania are a good side don't get me wrong.

next of all, cyprus are qg now. gotten a lot better and did well against czech rep away iirc. beat us of course (which is good for a team like them even with staunton in charge) and drew with us at croke park.

we have much more talent than bulgaria, only about 2 of their players i bet would get into our team (based on being on form) and of course, we don't have that silly wagon of a manager staunton anymore.

with a new manager we should definatley be aiming for at least second, no buts. wales beat bulgaria away didn't they btw? not judging them on that preformance but i'd be more feared playing away against a team like georgia, or montenegro. tricky places to go. montenegro are new, but have some good players apparently, including vucinic off roma. cyprus will be tricky too, a tough place to go. i guess it's just all the crap sides are catching up a lot now.

obviously a hater of ireland , but i thought i'd throw this at you.

btw on our results in the germany/czech group. we only lost 1-0 (or was it 2?) to czech rep. away when we could of got a draw there. should of beat them at home too, we just fell assleep after we scored and let them score from tip off. germany only beat us 1-0 out there, from a flukey freekick too. they drew with us at croke park. we were AWFUL that campaign aswell.

As to the CONCACAF draw, I'm trying to figure out why El Salvador have to play in the 1st knockout round, but Guyana get a 1st round bye. Guyana have never done anything. El Salvador usually gets to at least the 1st group stage.
