Santa Cruz - Awesome  Or perhaps we should've signed Harewood eh?
Rigters - Not played much and not played too well when he has. Didn't cost much and could still turn out good, but so far not a good signing.
And that's it really. Did our shopping in January with Samba (Legend), Warnock (Superb), Dunn (Surprisingly good), Berner (Backup).

tbf the new signings at forest have been a bit unlucky with injury, only wilsonhasnt been injured at some satge but here goes:
Kelvin Wilson: colossus at CB has become our best player at that position, excelent purchase
Matt Lockwood: Has hardly played due to injury
Neil Lennon: His experience in the middle of the park is great, but wont play every match surely, the team benefits from his short, simple passing
Chris Cohen: has boundless energy and seems very creative
Aaron Davies: It so nice to have dangerous wingers on both wings, scored his first goal of the season on saturday, and he could be the missing piece of the promotion jigsaw!

Belletti - Would rather have had Dani Alves when he was signed, but he has been immense. So good attacking down the wing and is the perfect support for SWP atm. Has looked a little suspect defensively now and then but he is so much better than Paulo Ferreirra it's just not funny.
Alex - good, this season just turning into last season with our centreback problems but this time we have Alex  Hits a ball too, like a better Huth.
Sidwell - meh, done alright when he's played, but always looked a little over keen to impress because of the lack of opportunities. I get the feeling he'll be vital during ACoN though. What a shambles of a tournament that is.
Malouda - ****. Doesn't look interested since Mourinho left, lazy, good-for-nothing twat that bottles out of about 5 50-50 challenges a game and was never better than Robben in the first place. Can **** off wherever he likes in January because all he's doing is keeping Joey Cole and SWP out of the team.
Pizarro - not played much but whenever he has he's impressed me. Got some great vision, and a bit of flair. He could also be absolutely vital in January.
Ben-Haim - Thought he'd be a solid backup judging by him at Bolton but apparently we've got a completely different player and as a free transfer he still wasn't worth it.
So in summary Malouda and TBH can just **** right off. Especially Malouda. At least TBH tries, bless him.

Rep Power: 10 | Rangers Carlos Cuellar (D C) from Osasuna (£2.4m)
Has been a class act so far and looks very much a bargain for the price we paid for him. Has been one of the reasons we've had a fairly solid defence this season.
Will only leave if we get a large offer and I don't think that will be in January. Lee McCulloch (AM L) from Wigan (£2.2m)
Wasn't happy with the amount we spent on him, but he's done well and always puts in a shift. Did very well at tracking back and keeping Messi quiet in the CL.
Will likely be around next season too. Steven Whittaker (D R) from Hibernian (£2m)
Had a good debut but hasn't performed well since then and has been playing right mid. Needs to work on his final ball and can't get in the team because of the form of the excellent Alan Hutton.
I think he'll be around but will find it very hard to get a game now. Might be worth a loan move in January to get some games. Steven Naismith (AM/F LRC) from Kilmarnock (£1.9m)
Hasn't featured much but has done well when he has. Might get a run in the team now that Novo is injured and has done well when coming off the bench.
Will be around next season. Daniel Cousin (ST) from Lens (£1m)
Has been brilliant at times (against Lyon in the CL) and terrible in other games. Very much a hit or miss player and doesn't seem interested. Will probably go to the Premiership at the end of the season for £3m (Release clause). Wouldn't be sad to see him go. DaMarcus Beasley (AM L) from PSV (£700k)
Offers something different with his pace and directness. Has been causing teams problems. Nothing really spectacular but a handy player to have.
Don't think he'll be going anywhere. Kirk Broadfoot (D C) from St Mirren (Bosman)
Hasn't really played and when he has it's been at left back. Decent defensively but his distribution consists of hoofing the ball as far up the park as he can. Don't think he'll get many opportunities and might look elsewhere. Fourth choice centre back behind Cuellar, Weir and Webster. Roy Carroll (GK) Free Transfer
Hasn't really played either and won't get in ahead of McGregor unless he turns English and starts making howlers. Don't think he's interested in going anywhere so he'll probably stick around if we still want him. If not he'll be off in the Summer. Jean-Claude Darcheville (ST) from Bordeaux (Bosman)
Been really impressed with JCD and he seems to be enjoying his football as well. Very much becoming a bit of a fans favourite because of his work rate and excellent celebration.
He'll stick around. Alan Gow (AM L) from Falkirk (Bosman)
Hasn't been able to break into the first team and I can't see how he's going to. He probably has Beasley, McCulloch, Novo, Naismith and possibly even Buffel ahead of him.
He might look elsewhere and I don't think we'll stop him. Graeme Smith (GK) from Kilmarnock (Bosman)
No idea why we signed him then signed Carroll as well. Hasn't exactly played well for the reserves either. Andy Webster (D C) from Wigan (Loan)
Will probably make his move permanent, although he hasn't been able to get in the team cos of injuries. Probably be a replacement for Weir in the longer term. Amdy Faye (DM) from Charlton (Loan)
Has been nothing short of a disaster when he has played for the first team and reserves. Just does not look like a footballer. Hopefully he won't be here for the season as we have better youth players (like Furman)

Amdy Faye
By the way Ter, I heard the Gers performance was rotten yesterday?
I was at the Celtic game at Parkhead (like I have for the last 10 seasons) and it was the best performance all season.

Lewis Price - not played
Ben Hinchcliffe - not played
Eddie Lewis - poor
Andy Griffin - old, slow, crap
Andy Todd - decent start, not done much since
Claude Davies - waste of £3m
Benny Feilhaber - rarely played
Rob Earnshaw - waste of £3.5m
Kenny Miller - only striker to score, probably been best player

I said this in the other thread in September Quote:
Sheffield Wednesday
Rob Burch - Looks unreliable but has only played a couple of games
Lee Grant - Played a few and alredy done some howlers although he was great against Rotherham
Richard Hinds - Looks like a capable back up although probably not good enough for a start in a good championship team
Etienne Esajas - Only seen him for 30 mintues but looks very promising
Akpo Sodje - Same as above, it was nice to see a striker win headers.
Francis Jeffers - Played a couple of times and gone off injured in both I think. If he gets fit then he could be good.
Overall we didnt strenghten in defence like we should have done and we didnt bring in a capable number 1 keeper. Not overly impressed tbh.
| Now though
Rob Burch - Same as before
Lee Grant - Looks like he could be a great keeper for us. Has been awesome in last few games.
Richard Hinds - Played well so far and looks a good championship players
Ettiene Esajas - Looks pretty lazy and not good overall but should become a good player when he settles in
Akpo Sodje - Scored 3 recently and always gives 100%
Franny Jeffers - Started to get his old form back until some twat injures him.
Michael Johnson - Looks to be a very good loan signing who has helped us out a lot. Same for Kavanagh when he was here.

I've said it before, but its still hard to believe Sheer Class rated him so highly. He started quite well for us but was awful for the rest of the season. Just never looked like he could have been the same player who was meant to be very good for Portsmouth.
We don't need him back at all, I'd rather have Marcus Bent back. Semedo and Zheng doing well, Racon and Holland as back up, Wright and Arter waiting for their chance and Sinclair out on loan.
