Weaver- Solid and made good saves. Good leader and a free transfer so all good
Moutaoukil- Injured in only his second game, great prospect just Mills is keeping him out.
McCarthy-Poor
Sodje- Done well, headers it unlike the rest of the defence and is a threat from set plays.
Mills- Solid, winds opposition up.
Semedo- Brilliant
Iwelumo- Another freebie, scores goals and leads form the front well.
Varney- Injured for the first few months, looks alright so far.
McLeod- Useless
Racon- Looks promising but hasn't really had any chance to impress
Toddy- Out for the season Gave us the best gift of all though, winner against Palace.

Pompey:

Glen Johnson - Suprised me, he hasn't be completely ******** like I expeccted.
Sylvain Distin - Formidable and solid, made a great partnership with Sol.
Hermann Hreidarsson - Done fairly well, a few goals too which helps.
Sulley Muntari - Started poorly first two games, but since then really picked up and looking like the quality player that he is.
John Utaka - Started fantastically, been a bit inconsitent since then, starting to pick up again now.
Papa Bouba Diop - Solid, not had a bad game so far off the top of my head.
David Nugent - Tries hard but falls apart at the finish. Hugely lacking confidence, gaining some now, might get a Premiership goal soon if he gets a bit more luck.

davis c. - not got into first team as yet really, debut was poor in the league cup, so can't comment really.
harewood - awful, not contributed anything so far in his miserably few appearances. Brought in as back up fair enough, but evidently not in MoN's plans already after woeful brief appearances. Won't stay long.
salifou - freebie togan - 1 year deal, could be good, could not, but sounds promising in the reserves atm.

The summer overall: 6/10
Poor Nige

torres - Pass the tissues.

lucas - Good ****. Too much love at the moment though, goddammit it, you saw what it did with Momo

babel - has come a long way. More precisely...

**** -> useless -> maybe...-> Quite decent

World class awaits.

voronin - Nothing spectacular and I've taken a dislike to him but he's a bit of a character. Acceptable.

benayoun - It would be a case of pass the tissues if I didn't automatically compare him to Luis Garcia.

itandje - Considering he's an ethnic keeper, I'd say he's been way above my expectations. So quite ****.

eastwood - started great, went mediocre, looking decent again. obvious ability, needs to work hard to be kept in the team
m jarvis - sounds promising, injured during pre-season. hasn't started a game. looks pacey - 'should' eventually complement kightly well
m gray - started a bit iffy, was looking good last 2 or 3 games before getting injured
d gibson - man u loanee. looks pretty good, but again hampered by injury thus fair
k foley - right back brought in from luton. didn't sound hugely exciting. absolutely fantastic player.
missed darren ward, who looks pretty good now, after an iffy start.

Celtic: Can't remember them all so I'll start with the best.

Scott McDonald - 14 goals this season (?) in all competitions including the winner against Milan. Absolute class for £750k.
Scott Brown - What a buy for £4.4m. What a player, gut bursting runs, assists, goals. Celtic rejected a £9m bid from Everton. Thats over double profit.
Massimo Donati - When hes played hes done well.
Chris Killen - Nice bench player

Can't remember much right now. I think thats it.

southport

neil prince - inconsitant
chris lever - suprised me and others, solid enough
karl noon - the odd sub appearance, half decent
richard whiteside - the odd mistake but solid enough between the sticks
dave prout - starting to get a game, one for the future

benayoun - yes.
itandje - backup to reina so not seen too much of him except for some carling cup games. first one he was a bit dodgy but did well against cardiff.

bags of youngsters too for the future, with a lot of them suppost to be doing great.
same, except lucas. crap.
