Listening to the new Interpol album for the first time... its pretty good. Interpol albums are growers so i expect i'll love it by next week.

I definitely recommend it, especially to any Editors fans out there; you can see how ***** they are in comparison.

It's funny - did anyone see Mark Beuamont's piece in NME about Editors vs Interpol? An absolutely astounding tirade on Interpol and a gushing endorsement of Editors. Quite, quite bizarre.
Especially because he's wrong. Our Love to Admire is going to be ffffb, and by all accounts, An End has a Start is a bit drab.

Slinky (the bassist) and I have been known to put on a good magic show. They are a pretty decent band, their only fans seem to be about 13 though.

Anyone heard the new Pumpkins recored, Zeitgeist? I'm praying that they have returned to Siamese Dream levels or genius but I'm assuming this is over ambitious. I never did like anything after Melancholy really but SD one of my favourite records of all time.
