i have only heard bad things about the twang. in fact, most of the new bands at the moment i either dislike from hearing them or have been told bad things about. like the horrors, are SO rubbish.

The Horrors are particularly bad though, they are up there with Enter Shikari basically.

I've not heard enough of the Twang to comment but their single is certainly catchy enough for the NME bandwagon.

As greenan said, there is so much dross around at the minute, keep an eye on the upcoming gigs/tours thread. Los Campesinos better than anything else recently, Tokyo Police Club the only other band to really stand out imo at the minute. New Biffy album out shortly though.

My Chemical Romance win best international band. They refer to their fans as 'the MCarmy', nice.
