I saw the Hold Steady in Bristol this weekend, they were ok but don't know their songs so couldn't really enjoy it. Plus it was full of middle-aged men which put me off a bit.

However, have discovered The Velvet Teen recently and absolutely love them now. For the unitiate, I'd (somewhat lazily) compare them to Jeff Buckley/Radiohead/Turin Brakes. Anyone else into them?

Cold War Kids album is cool. Have listened to it over and over since i got it. Even the extra song at the end of Rubidoux is awesome.
