Yeah, I've seen Frank Turner 6 times in the last year or so.

Finally starting to get the recognition he deserves, I think he gigged 200 times or something stupid last year. One of the nicest people you could ever talk to as well.

The album came a couple of weeks ago, you should go buy it.

Did you see Dive Dive as well?

I'm seeing him again in a few weeks.

yeah i quite like that klaxons album. this "new rave" ******** can get lost though, going by who is supposed to be in it it's just some sort of indie-dance type thing that's been going already? i blame the nme. and jim davidson.

Also, someone talk to me about Midlake. Someone made me a CD with Roscoe on it and I love it loads. What next, please?

Midlake are immense. Roscoe is a track on their second album, "The Trials of Van Occupanther". The album is really really good. It was released in the summer last year so you should be able to get it quite cheap now. Do it. They are on tour throughout the UK from April.

Im a big fan, but that doesn't always mean alot.

They're often accused of being Libertine-lites but id suggest rather somewhere between Libertines and The Hives. More into making bluesy rock 'n' roll / indie than the myth of being a rock and roll star in a band.

Im not saying that is all the Libertines are about but thats the sort pedestool that they're fans have put them on.

Im also a Libertines fan too and there's plenty of room for both bands.
