Got a PSP and it's awesome. </BLOCKQUOTE>
Great piece of hardware, shame about the total absence of decent titles.

That they have innovative, entertaining games that give you a fun way of playing games for about 15 to 30 minutes at a time, rather than turgid rubbish that was previously released 2 years ago on the PS2? </BLOCKQUOTE>
I had a DS for about a month and traded it for a PSP. I've still got my PSP now after 3 months so I rate it better than the DS.

Mario Kart was the first game I got with my DS, all those years ago.
Squeezed every single bit of fun out of that game. One of my all time favourites on the fun factor.

Get a DS and a PSP. Best of both worlds.

Best to wait until after Christmas imo - and then get an Xbox instead.
Nothing on the PS3 worth getting until at least April I believe. The 360 already has some great games for it.
If you're casual though, get the Wii or a DS. Simple, fun games that you can dip in and out of for as little or as much time as you want.

PSP is good if you have a lot of travelling to do, as you get great PS games on the run. However, if you're just going to be sat at home there's simply no point in getting a PSP - buy a PS2, it's cheaper.
DS, on the other hand, is awesome.

Mario Kart on DS probably took a good 6 hours every day for a few months round my mates. That game is the pinnacle you mighty fool.
