Sky obviously is going to have the cream as they were here first, but early steps have to be made by Setanta before they rush headlong into a full-scale broadcast battle.

Setanta still isn't good enough to justify subscribing. It only really succeeds in making Sky Sports a little bit worse, but not significantly.

Isn't it cheaper to get Sky Sports and Setanta Sports on Virgin than it is on Sky?

| I agree to a point, hence why the Virgin package is such a good thing.
IIRC my package with Virgin costs me £35 a month and for that I get the Sky Sports package, all Virgin channels and Setanta.
This must be cheaper than if I had the Sky service.

even though i can't get virgin where i live how much does it cost to get a full virgin service (including the sky channels) with setanta.

Setanta haven't got anything that I give a toss about yet thankfully and even if they did I'd not get it. Would just do without whatever they might take and stick with Sky.
