| Of course it can.
The only reason it doesn't is that people won't switch from their service provider.
If you're not willing to use the system that allows you to watch cheaper tv, then why should you be allowed the same benefits of those that have?

When they get the Champions League and something better than the 3rd choice of Prem games each week, and attempt to look like a proper station when they present stuff, i'll consider tbh.

| Ah yes, the old use the minority position to support an argument trick.
Let's instead talk about the majority who do live in areas serviced by both Sky and Cable.

Gotta start somewhere, Sky looked dodgy when it started too but now at least looks professional if not sounds.
Sounds great if you subscribe to Virgin but otherwise people are paying out more. I am going back to England at Xmas and have Sky but not adding Setanta but i do want to watch all the games.
Similar here, another package brought the rights to Premier League, much better, Champions League rights are still with the old package and they make you subscribe to something else as well to get the Sports Channels you want. B*llocks, costs me more to watch exactly what i watched last season |

Should have more than one provider able to show the same games tbf. That's competition.
It's like allowing Tesco to only sell Stella, Kronenbourg and Carlsberg and allowing Asda to sell the rest.
Horrific.

| No, they really aren't.
Do you know anyone who will cancel Sky Sports subscription because Setanta have a few more games?
Sky still has the huge huge majority of good games.
