Seeing as i will be drinking at Christmas i have just ordered a fine selection off the beersofeurope site. Hate most of the ***** lager you get in this country, so gone for the beauty German beer, Ethiopian beer and even one for Taiti Highly recommend the site. Cost me £75 quid for 40 bottles (but there proper bottles that hold about a pint, not the small crap ones) and next day delivery

Oooh, what beer do you get in the Oktoberfest selection box? I went this year and it was ace. Look out for Hoffbrau and Lowenbrau. Superb!!
When in Germany, got speaking to a few of the people who run bars over there and they said Lowenbrau to them is like Carling to us. I like it tho, but clearly better beers over there

Yeah but a) bet they werent as big (the german ones are at least a pint some probably pint and a half and b) tasted like ****
So 40 660ml for £75 = £1.88 per bottle. Mine was 60 330ml bottles, which is 30 of your bottles for £20 = 67p a bottle. Plus i know what im getting (iirc it was carlsberg export which so happens to be one of my favourite lagers) and is still 5%+. Dont think i can warrant paying triple that cost for some unknown lager i might not like anyway.
