8} Hi, I want to use a basic clipart that I have of a man and cut this shape out of a picture of a CD/DVD. I want it to look a man made from a CD. Anyhow, any ideas or tips on how to go about this would be kindly appreciated.

I'm a little baffled by what you are trying to do. If you just want a man shaped outline with a fill from another image you can do the following.

Place the man image on one layer with the fill image above it on another layer.

Remove any pixels from the man images background using the selection tools or the eraser, so only the man is left on a transparent layer.

Next, group the two layers together (alt click between them).

Thanks I'll try it. What I want to do, is use another image as the fill. I.E take a picture of a man, and fill him with the reflective effect from a cd disc. He's supposed to be dvd man!
