depends what you mean by talent I guess, but Scholes is not streets behind Rooney or Gazza by any stretch of the imagination.

Overrated: Defoe, Johnson (based on contnued inclusion in england squads, not sure anyone actually rates them that highly though.)
underrated: Keane, van persie
Potential: Vaughan, Agbonlahor,
All time: shearer, cole and henry (based on them being the top 3 all time goalscorers)

My point is not a reason to try and see how many Man U players we can crowbar into a thread but to find out why people think Rooney is overrated.

I don't really gaf is you think Scholes is on par with Gazza.
