is a cup an hour too much tea drinking, or is it pretty safe?
I think Tea has about the same caffeine as something like Coke, all according how strong you make it. One cup an hour isn't going to do anything to you other than jitter you up.

Tea contains more caffeine than coffee weight for weight, but less weight is used, in general, to brew a cup of tea.

A cup of coffee has about 100mg, tea 60mg.

I always thought chai was a type of tea?

Quite like it, my dad drinks it a lot. Smells amazing </BLOCKQUOTE>

well, the tea is part of chai. most of the chai I drink is a blend of black tea, honey, milk, cinnamon, cloves and cardamom.

Gluhwein is great in the winter, but tea's handier as it doesn't get you ****ed.

I drink far, far too much, I know that.

Pretty much half-hourly when I'm at my nan's, slightly more normal when I'm at home or uni.

Hate coffee.

This "hot apple cider" which Daaaaave proudly speaks of, is alcholic, much like the cider oung fellows drink on a night out or is it some kind of fruit based non-alcoholic drink which is enjoyed by American kids on Halloween?

It's a drink that I notice all the kids are drinking at Halloween parties in American films/tv shows.

I seemed to have dropped the entire English language down the back of the sofa today.

Don't drink it that much myself.

Reminds me of an amusing thing on a trip to Holland. One of my mates drunk tea constantly.

He was shaking at points from it.

Although I'm coming across as completely pedantic, but seeing as the guy asked - he's right, chai is just Hindi for tea. Masala Chai is tea with all that other stuff in it.

Tea is amazing after a freezing cold cycle to placement/home, it seems to warm me up in seconds
