Brazil play all friendlies in Europe, which is very annoying, so if the match betwen ENG and SCO was to be played in South Africa, it would indeed be beyond ridiculous.

Isnt it a FIFA directive that international friendlies generally take place in the region where a majority of the players are based ? Hence Brazil travelling over Europe.
Nothing confirmed so it's an England might play Scotland in South Africa thing then ? Some big shot asked Barwick if they'd play and he just nodded politely

| Argentina played in Australia, so I think it's more like something advised by FIFA, it's not something that the teams are forced to do.
Despite the "all friendlies" I mentioned above (  ), Brazil did play two games in the USA east coast.
I think only the talks between the English and Scottish FAs took place in South Africa, but the game is probably going to be played in the UK.
