oh and what is the difference between the NFL and the AFC, and why do they have little leagues of four, but then play other teams outside of their league ( conference? )
| The winner of the AFC plays the winner of the NFC in the Super Bowl. There is a playoff system to determine the winners of each conference. The NFL is the name for both conferences combined. In each conference, there are 4 divisions. Each team plays the other teams in its divison twice and the NFL decides the other games.

Do you like NHL? Are you a poor Bruins fan?
| I've never liked hockey. I finally decided to watch a game and right when I turned it on, some defender hit the puck against his skate and it deflected into the goal. Changed channels. Quote: |
Why is turning 16 such a big deal? And does everyone have a huge party like on Sweet 16 on MTV?
| I don't know really.

Actually Scott, the NFL doesn't decide the other games in a way that "oh, New England can play Carolina this year." Each team plays 16 games, 6 against their 3 division rivals, 4 against another division in your conference, and 4 against a division in the other conference. That makes 14, the final 2 are against teams who finished in the same position as you in their division the previous year. And it's done on a rotation thing so everyone plays every team at least twice (home and away) every 16 years. Iirc at least.

The URL says Hugo Chavez in it. Who was the person in the picture, was it someone I should have heard of?

It was the newly elected (last May) French president Nicolas Sarkozy. He was visiting the US a week or so ago and was around Boston for 10 days this summer on vacation... he visited Bush at least twice in the past 6 months... basically the answer to your question is: "How can you not know who he is?"
