Might have pulled a fiver out of his wallet ready and then dropped it? |

is it true that in morocco monkey-owners get their monkeys to jump on your back, then try and charge you for the privelage?

I remember gettiing mugged off the only time I have ever tried to buy a big issue
bravely walked up to the fella and gave him the quid, then he says it's his last copy and please can he keep the money but also the magazine so that he can carry on mugging people off :****( was taken aback and accepted his proposal like an idiot. should have demanded the copy I'd paid for.

I gave a beggar a Cadburys Double Decker recently.
To be honest it wasn't out of charity. I just felt I shouldn't eat it cos my body is a temple. |

Best one I've seen was this drunk who came up to us outside a pub and said, 'can I have £2 for medical research into the effects of alcohol?'. My mate gave him £2.
It's interesting to see how some of them lock you into a conversation with their opening line. A guy recently used 'Do you speak English?' on me, to which you kind of instinctively say 'yes', and before you know it he's on about needing to get to Guildford and his giro not coming through.

| I had some guy telling me had to get to Guildford too, apparently he'd just found out his friend was dying in hospital but didn't have money for the bus because his giro hadn't come through. He started the conversation with how to get to Guildford walking from Aldershot, I advised him he'd better start running as she apparently only had an hour to live and it's a good 4 hour walk. Not the answer he was looking for apparently...
