I don't rate Bruce as a manager, at least Eck has some ability - they got £3m from Wigan for him and paid the SFA 750-800k as compensation

You can't criticise McLeish for what he has done for Scotland but if his previous trend is anything to go by maybe we are losing him at the right time.

After a 3rd place season with Motherwell he left them on the verge of relegation, after a 3rd place season with Hibs he left them in the bottom half, after a good start winning some trophies with Rangers it got to a stage where there were protests against him.

Maybe the trend would have been bucked, who knows, maybe not.
