How does Naylor help them make that jump to playing better as a team?

half decent manager should suffice. it's not like it's a strong group.

I agree. But should that manager be English or should they hire the best candidate?

What will it take ?? Jeez, things arent that bad. The side really needs managing and a bit of a shake up but it's not the end of the world. Group isnt that bad. In a years time when we start playing Croatia again you have no idea what they'll be like, they certainly improved from last World Cup to recent Qualifying campaign so who knows what will happen in the next 9-12 months. Also, Bilic might get nabbed by a European side and hopefully we'll have a decent manager from anywhere btw

Owen said that the Croatian players couldn't get into the England squad, not the Premiership squads.....

....otherwise Niko Kranjcar's p*ssed on his arguement already.

I'm agreeing here too - beet? Where'd you get that from exactly? Half term is it?

England need to make their own continent, consisting of them and some crappy nations.

That way they'd surely win....right?

I'd love to see England in the CONCACAF, especially with the current caliber of referees

The first time they have to play Guatelama, Panama, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Honduras or any of the other non US/Mexico teams there would be genuine shock at the kind of ugly/dirty play that doesn't provoke a whistle or a card.

Unlike the **** teams in UEFA, CONCACAF **** teams have a chip on their shoulder and take every opportunity to hack and chop players down - especially after you've scored against them. That's largely because CONCACAF refs don't card but the most blatant of fouls.

Also, I'm sure they'd love to get bags of **** (among other items) regularly thrown at them in fairly sweltering climates, because that will surely keep English players motivated and fit for national team matches.
