That's awesome considering how much the hire was.

I just used to book bands from far away that I really liked and no one else would put on, just gave them petrol money and a place to stay. Guess that deal doesn't work out in my favor when they have to travel from London and the gig's in Leicester?

Just wish I had more time and money to do it more.

I am. Not sure we'd be ready for gigging so soon (bands been around for a while, but bassist just left and so I came in around.. 5 days ago..) but if you're desperate we're not far off having a set's worth of stuff we (well, I, specifically.. me being the new guy and all) know well enough and that'd be enough time for us to get everything in shape.

Not sure how many people we could bring with us though so probably ignore us unless you really need someone to fill the bill.

But yeah, if you're interested I can speak to the guys and find out if they'd be up for it. I'd link to some recordings but that would be no good as they're with a previous bassist, about whom the less said the better..

we didnt pay them. we were all 16/17 at the time, and everyone was just happy to play to that many people.
(basically we shafted them )
