Speaking as an English Newcastle fan, this is something I'd really, really like to see.

It could go either way, his immense pride could go on to keep the squads decent momentum going, or his pride and ego will come together to annoy and alienate every member of the squad and they go on to record their worst results in a qualifying group ever.

He's been linked with lots of jobs in recent months, but nothing seems to have come off for him. I wonder why ? Could it be, being implicated in recent bung investigations .....

What we really need is someone who recognises that the team is going well and doesn't need remoulded in the manager's preferred style.
