they're not going to be able to get Capello though are they? More money the country has then the better coach and players they could potentially buy. That's why i would rather have everything just one nationality. </BLOCKQUOTE>
yeah but if you get a top class Albanian coach he'll go off and manager a european club side rather than Albania anyway, because they can't afford him. Whilst in the mean time you're preventing them from getting average foreign coaches in who would help their national team improve quite a lot. How many African teams have home grown managers? While these countries catch up they will need to bring in foreigners in the short term as they don't have the expertise domestically, same as in any industry.
I do understand the point though that's it's a competition of nation v nation, and if we need an Italian coach to beat Italy, then we can't really gloat over them can we? but then again patriotism isn't exactly the most enlightened emotion anyway so who cares. DWPN
