fair enough spector isn't involved but i'm sure if the new guys wanted to make a game like the first one then they could do.

and when ever i talk to someone about this game i have to say the title slowly otherwise it comes out as:

'have you played that game 'day o' sex' yet? it's great!'

Exciting. The first was the greatest game ever, and the second had awful gameplay and weak voice acting but I actually liked the story.

I wonder how will it can connect with the story of DXIW, if it's set afterwards?

I picked up the first one for 1p (yes 1 pence!!) off Amazon marketplace. It was one of the best games i've ever played. Not bothered with the second one due to the things i've heard about it.

So more of the first please Deus Ex people.

First game the best ever. Second one was shoddy.

Wondering what they'll do with the plot though.

I have the first one and I did really enjoy it - but I didn't complete it before I changed PCs. Unfortunately I never got around to finishing it 'cos I couldn't be bothered to play through it all again.

I read good reviews about the sequel - so it's interesting that so many people have a different opinion here.
Could it be because Half-Life 2 eclipsed it?

(Aside: I never completed Half-Life either - it just seemed to go on and on - I got to a stage where I was jumping from asteroid to asteroid but I can't remember if I kept dying or if I just got fed up with it?)
