How much better/different is Civilisation 4 compared to 2 ? Is it worth getting 4 or will 2 do what it says on the tin ?

I only play FM on my laptop, I find any other game much better on a console. Why do you want to make the switch?

Looked at the first one's specs - bit cheaper than my similarly priced 2-year old Mesh desktop but :eek: specs seemingly tons better.
How long does a battery last though? - half-hour?

Are Gears of War and Crysis playable on an avarage laptop? My specs aren't that great but I can run COD4 perfectly if I set the graphics at the lowest level possible. Would this be possible with the other ones mentioned above?

I just saw a four-pack of Dawn of War & its expansion, Company of Heroes and Supreme Commander for about the price of a new game.
Wouldn't expect to be able to play Crysis on an average desktop, let alone laptop BTW...

I'm also interested in doing this. Got my laptop in the summer... Intel C2D T7300 @ 2Ghz, 2Gb RAM and I think the graphics card is decent. Firstly I need a controller, should I just get an x-box one or is there better things out there?

| Just for a bit of variety to be honest! I've got a Wii so the gaming isn't that hardcore. Thinking about buying a PS3 but thought that I'd ask to see if I could get anymore out of my laptop as well.
