Motorcyclists - what are your views? And do you drive one? Post #33
Yeah I mean this very morning some **** in a car swerved violently to give himself a smoother ride over one of those speed turtles and almost ran me off the road (something he would have failed his test for). All that prevented a nasty accident was my own perception and awareness. That doesn't prove that all car drivers are terrible, just that some people are *****.

Red, Do you have the special shoes that clip onto the pedals?
As I can heartily recommend investing in a pair, on the basis that they have an excellent metal clip on the sole of the shoe that leaves a marvellous long scrape on the side of any vehicle that gets too close.

The only time I have been hit by a car the car came off worse Thankfully quite a low speed thing on High Street Ken. The gentlemen ploghed into me while overtaking me, I got up and walked away with cuts and bruises. He needed a new wing mirror, bonnet and wing. 6ft+ of Welsh muscle > metal.
But I don't like those cleat pedals, tried them once and like to be able to shift my foot around the pedal.

Good work.
I once ploughed through the back windscreen of a car as he stopped suddenly in front of me.
My helmet broke the glass and I then followed swiftly afterwards.
I ended up lying on his parcel shelf covered in glass!
Again damage to me none.

It's been done already.
Although I doubt your production values would be as good as these.

The ad campaign for "Think Bike" drives me nuts :@. OK theres sensible bikers out there but its those idiots who fly around everywhere at mach 2. Get it a lot down here as theres plenty of twisty roads for them to blast down. HAd one the other week turn into the road I was about to turn out of and he bombed into the road on the wrong side narrowly missing my car. Then theres the ones who squeeze in everywhere instead of waiting in line like everyone else :@
