The pikey twats on their little mopeds who remove the muffler from the exhaust and zip in and out of traffic need to be exterminated.
Most motorcycle users, as wot Red sed, are pretty good and don't abuse the road.
Obv the couriers are a different breed but, like cabbies, I trust that they know what they're doing.

It's got nothing to do with your safety as a driver, you're hardly likely to be able to recount tales of having uneventfully passed motorcyclists because nothing of note will have happened. But you will be able to easily recall the times when they have irritated/amused you.

My step-dad was hit by a car while on his bike. He got $215,000 and bought a house. Oh for the days when houses were affordable!

I almost hit a motorcyclist the other week too. There was a car directly behind me and another a fair distance away in the other lane, the lights had just changed so we weren't moving too fast. I started to change lanes and the idiot came flying from behind the other car at twice the speed limit. If I weren't so responsible and hadn't checked in the mirror I would've taken him out.

I ride one. But I've only been riding just under two weeks, so my own experiences of the road are few. But essentially what Hector said, sensible and defensive riders are the majority and aren't the problem.

Motorcyclists seem to have invented these extra two lanes on motorways.

Fair play to them when traffic is at a stnadstill. They are welcome to squeeze passed.

But not when you are going at 70mph+ ffs.

remember going to see my grandad in hopsital a year ago. In the bed opposite was a man in his mid 20s with a broken leg and a broken arm. He came off his motorbike he told us.

Pays your money you take a chance with a motorbike.

No they're not, no one group is better than anybody, there are bad drivers, bad cyclists, bad motorcyclists and bad medicine (that's what I need).

Bad road sense is not mutually exclusive to one group. I suppose if you were to make a case for anything there would be more bad drivers than motorcyclists or cyclists, simply because statistically in this country there are more of them on the road.
