To put it slightly more in context, he was on a yellow already, the second one was for foul language, as he called said person a ****ing numpty.

Still overkill, but not quite as ludicrous as the initial story suggested.

I got a yellow once for demonstrating how stupid the new crackdown on swearing was. Basically it meant that if you said anything obviously offensive enough to have been included in the filter, you were fine because it was asterisked out, but if you happened accidentally to evade the filter, you'd get a warning/ban.

Must be about 4 or 5 times a day someone will use the "SCUNThorpe Clause" to swear, and never gets punished.

The foul language ban/yellow card is something ill never understand. Just so inconsistant. If they carded everyone that swore on these forums then there'd seriously be no one left after a couple of days.

Most ridiculous banning is when Kris banned me, moments after I made fun of spurs in the spurs thread on the final day of the lasagna season.

Although he claimed it was purely down to me being rubbish.

I think it's mostly there to spice up an otherwise dull 'abuse' yellow.
