they only make a 'profit' to cover the costs of people who don't end up paying it back. which, seeing as it takes many people a good 20 years or so, is increasingly more.

The funny thing is, they set the interest rate by the rate of inflation in March of this year which was a strangely high month (double that of last years March) so we're stuck with 4.8%. So unlucky really |

I used to work in the Student Loan Company!  Still keep in contact with a few of them who work there.
Company was a bit ***** to be honest, also a quite a few of them do not have a clue whats happening!

I'll admit to it. I sent out a few letters abroad 2nd class  It's just laziness to be honest, all that had to be done was put the International letters into a seperate box but they really just go into the same box as 2nd class ones :cool: Yes, I was one of those lazy *****!

Ok. I graduated in 2001 but have spent most of the time abroad or earning less lan 15k.
If fact I have never earned 15k.
After how long do they cancel it?
