Never saw it, but my gf was seething that Invasion was cancelled after the first series, without having explained the mystery.

Sliders didn't really end. Once forced myself through season five. Safe to say that it was all downhill from the end of season two.
The final Dungeons and Dragons episode was written but never filmed iirc. The writer had the script hosted on some website for a while.
Serps, not sure how you can claim that the Buffy story had run it's course, especially considering that Whedon is at the moment keeping the Buffyverse alive with all new stories. Think it was more a case of the show just being impossible to keep going, for varying reasons.

| Citys of Gold (amazing cartoon, still love it now) had an ending of sorts, I wont post spoilers though. Ulysses and Dungeons & Dragons I got the box sets for recently for cheap from HMV online, need to sit down and watch them sometime. btw, it will come to dvd at some point... |

| It wasnt picked up for a second season. TBF it started slow but as it got into the second half of the season it picked up the pace and got much much better.
A lot of the time I think US series could really do with being scaled down to 12-13 episodes a series and cutting out the filler episodes which often completley kill any pace they've built up.

And yes, the last episodes were crap. But I loved it when I was young.
| Saw both the miniseries of V on the Sci-Fi channel a while ago and they were immense. Have yet to see the TV series yet though.
Tru Calling was ended prematurely |

| I disagree. Things got tied up nicely.
Though how much of that was down to the TV company reducing the episodes in the final series and not allowing a 4th series. Unsure whether this is how Hurwitz/Howard would have wanted it, but I thought under the circumstances it ended well. God I miss it!
