| Haddaway and *****. V had an ending. In fact it had two iirc. </BLOCKQUOTE>
That was never an ending! We never even found out if the bomb went off in the shuttle craft transporting Elizabeth to the leader. That was definitely not the intended ending of the whole program.
If you count credits rolling as an ending then you're right it had one, otherwise it's you who should be haddawaying and *****ing.

| Wow!
I never saw much of that - it was always on really late (after midnight?) wasn't it?
</BLOCKQUOTE>
Yeah, it was on really late. But I used to tape it and get up early before school and watch it then. Saw it again recently and up to the start of the series it was awesome (ie V: The original mini series and V: The final battle).
The series afterwards though was a bit pants, but it was still V, even though Kenneth Johnson had long since left.

Rep Power: 0 | Vanished seemed to reach a hasty ending after 12 episodes - I assume that was a curtailed series.
There was a fantastic US high school series on E4 about 5 years ago that surprisingly got pulled - I just can't remember it's name just now :grrr:
Thanks for the update on V cliff7197. I'll have to see if I can track it down.

did they ever get home in the end of Sliders?
| Not sure but I remember one episode where they only had a couple of seconds in a dimension they thought was home and he checks to see if his front gate squeeks when moved and it doesn't so they go off sliding again then the mother comes out the door and thanks a handy man for fixing the gate </BLOCKQUOTE>
yeah series two I think, or maybe the end of series one. There was definitely more after that, but I didn't really watch it. </BLOCKQUOTE>
It's best to think there were only two series and they never made it home.
In actual fact there were 5 series, only one surviving cast member in the final series and it was terrible. So definitely not killed off before it's time. Quote:

| Would have been so much better to have left it after 2 seasons. The 3rd season was quite rubbish and ruined the image for me.

Rep Power: 0 | Half-time Orange: Have a look on E-Bay, Play or somewhere. You can get them all on DVD now. You'll need to buy 3 DVD sets though for the full experience:
V: The original mini series (2 episodes)
V: The final battle (3 episodes)
V: The series (19 episodes)
The 19 episode series is hardest to find, but you can get it. The show was cancelled at the end of the first series due to bad ratings, which if you watch it these days as an adult you'll sharp see why! It's still worth if for nostalgia reasons alone though. There's also continuing rumours that Kenneth Johnson is shooting a sequel. He's apparantly releasing a new V book early next year and keeps talking about a movie to go with it. Would be awesome.
