Looking on IMDB it seems that there is a bit of a debate about if they did get home in Dungeons and Dragons, loads of people insist they have seen they episode while everyone connected with the show insist it never happened.

Seems like there is an episode in Season 1 where they go home and then have to go back, that could be the one you guys are thinking of?

Going to have to mention Urban Gothic again here. It was cancelled at the end of Series 2, which means the only storyline that the show ever had has been left incomplete, and unless the very unlikely event of the third series being made happens, I'll never actually know what was planned for it.

Not sure but I remember one episode where they only had a couple of seconds in a dimension they thought was home and he checks to see if his front gate squeeks when moved and it doesn't so they go off sliding again then the mother comes out the door and thanks a handy man for fixing the gate </BLOCKQUOTE>

yeah series two I think, or maybe the end of series one. There was definitely more after that, but I didn't really watch it.

it was a really sad episode as well, they all got back and were dead happy then the bad guy (whose name escapes me) followed them through iirc and they had to go back to save the world from being terrorised by him.

As for the original Q, Dark Skies. They planned a big story arc basically a decade per series up to the millenium, and it was scrapped after a very enjoyable 1st series. had a good cast as well including JT Bach and Jeri Ryan.
