The 19 episode series is hardest to find, but you can get it. The show was cancelled at the end of the first series due to bad ratings, which if you watch it these days as an adult you'll sharp see why! It's still worth if for nostalgia reasons alone though. There's also continuing rumours that Kenneth Johnson is shooting a sequel. He's apparantly releasing a new V book early next year and keeps talking about a movie to go with it. Would be awesome.

can someone explain how V went, cause i always used to think when i was younger that there was hundreds of episodes.
the original mini series, wasnt that the episodes when the visitors first arrived, and then the second episode when we found out they were the lizards. then why did they call the next episodes the final battle, and just have 3, before then starting the series?
was it not just like all 1 hour episodes?
i take it popularity of it made them to commision more episodes?
i always got confused by how it worked.
but yeah i remember watching episodes of it on sci fi i think it was, and they used to use footage of previous episodes to put into episodes, so you'd basically have a scene where they were like in a sewer exit with the big gate on the outskirts of the city, and then footage of alien troops walking down a city and spotting them. it was just so shoddy when your old enough to realise it stood out like a sore thumb
last episode of that i saw, was diana fleeing the ship and making her way to the leader, and there was a bomb or summat, and she smiled, and that was it?
