I had my latest Boxercise session yestrday afternoon (Wednesday). Im definitely feeling the benefits now, plus I can feel an improvement in my strength, particularly on my left side :thup:

My physique is improving too :cool:

Have done my 11th consecutive day at the gym.

Am doing 30 mins X-trainer every day, plus 12 mins row and 12 mins bike every second day.

Main intention is just to get in shape, a by-product of which will be a 1 stone weight loss. Tend to do this every year then pile it back on in the second half!

No weight loss as yet but through experience, it tends to kick in after a month or so. Feeling a lot better already, and this week's 5-a-side was noticibly sharper than in months. :thup:

Not the best, but better than it used to be. Also I drink a lot lot less than before. I wouldn't say my diet is particularly filled with lots of fresh fruit and veg though.

Diets just don't happen with me so it's the exercise that works

If you don't watch what you eat / drink, I think you'll find it hard to lose weight no matter how much you go to the gym.

Taking on my own advice, I really need to stop the beer. But I'm at uni ffs. Beer is drank every day

Depends on your weight and your metabolism really.

An average guy needs 2500 calories a day to stay the same weight. As I'm smaller than average I need 2100 a day. I'm on a bulk diet so I'm eating around 3000 cal's a day, but I find it easy to put on muscle and fat.

A guy I know eats 5000 cals a day becuase he finds it hard to put on weight.

6'2" for me so what would you say?

I'd find 5000 on a clean bulk nearly impossible
