I have asked this before but never got a conclusive answer;

Can anyone tell me why it's so much easier to run on a machine than it it outside, even when it's really flat?

I have tried to run in the evenings sometimes, but I end up absolutely exhausted after about 10 mins and unable to go on, even if I pace myself yet can go 20 mins quite fast on the treadmill no probs...

My regime is teh

Monday - Run to the gym, rower and free weights, run back from the gym
Tuesday - nothing
Wednesday - Spanish laps of a football pitch (sprint widths, jog lengths) might take a ball and do some stuff if I have time to kill
Thursday - Call in the gym on the way back from work, swim and free weights
Friday - Drink
Saturday - Run to the gym, long cycle, free weights, run home
Sunday - Nothing, it's a day of rest sons

If I'm feeling particularly unfit I might to Spanish laps on the Sunday as well.

I have my music

I'm about 14stone but I have a biggish belly, I'm only 5"9 as well so don't have height to hide it

Always liked you mate :*)

Sometimes if I go off on holiday I don't work out for a couple of weeks, so put the extra day in to get back on track. Or if I've been ill/injured.

That'll go really quick once you start working out regularly though. I toned up really quick last time I got really into it, I'm hoping the same'll happen this time.
