i think the whole "hate england because of the media" bandwagon is getting a bit tired now. We know you take great joy in seeing England lose, but why shout it from the rooftops?

The vast majoirty want England to do well, and a world cup win would be worth all the monginess from the media.

Don't tell me that doesn't happen because it does. Every time England are playing you can without a doubt, gaurantee that somebody in the media will mention '66.

England were not the best team in 66 so they could do it. Especially if they host it in 2018.

However, as more and more countries get better and better, in the very long run it will get harder.

i think he means that in the euros you dont tend to get crap teams, whereas in the world cup you do
