Darren Carter set to go to Albion? How do we feel about that?
Seems another link to our past is gone, as Bluenose Darren leaves. In his place we'll probably get some mercenary plodder who won't score any goals from midfield (serious worry that with Dunn constantly injured) and won't really care.
Worried.

Sniff, i've gone all nostalgic over the thread title i was adamant we would go out to millwall then to make it 4 straight play off defeats, until sterny popped up  x100
I would like Darren to stay as a squad plater, he is only 21\22 i think and has time to improve, did a good job when he came in last season. Could do with one or two of our own youngsters coming through, it's bad enough AJ coming back to haunt us, let alone Carter.
Delighted with Forsell re-signing (providing he isn't crocked) just could do with a proper Savage replacement (i.e not salif diao )

Clemence is still at Blues, but with a fully fit midfield (plus the probably addition of another midfielder) may not get much of a look in. i'll be happy to keep him, though i'd rather we get rid of him than carter tbh.

Panathinaikos have turned down an offer of £265,000 from Birmingham for Greek international Angelos Basinas.
The 29-year-old, who played every game for Greece at Euro 2004, had also been the subject of an enquiry from Portsmouth, though no offer was made.
A Panathinaikos spokesman told BBC Sport: "The offer from Birmingham was for 400,000 euros.
"For a player of Angelos' calibre that offer is far too low - for that sort of money he will not be sold."
Basinas came through Panathinaikos' youth system and signed a professional contract with them in 1995.
The spokesman added: "I read that Birmingham received £1.75m for Darren Carter. Angelos is better than Carter and has the experience of playing in more than 50 Champions League games.
"If Birmingham come back with an increased offer there would be a discussion about it."
Portsmouth are understood to have tried to sign the midfielder one month ago, but Basinas turned down the south-coast club.
Pompey's director of football Velimir Zajec has close contacts with Panathinaikos, where he was both a player and technical director.
Basinas, who does not speak much English, has a contract with Panathinaikos until next summer.
Rumor has it that Bruce is prepared to come back with an improved offer (£750,000)
