play him left midfield - good competition for Gray, with Lazaridis and Clapham Common vying for left back?

What do we think of robie savage now? a few months on from the whole saga, am i the only one who thinks it actually wasn't that bad that we got rid of him now? He is a gobby, cockey, outspoken idiot, who is on the wrong side of 30. e never was or will be a good ootballer and with his legs running out soon he'll be nothing shortof worthless. Albeit, he had a great couple of years with us, and i appreciate that, but £3mill is what we sold him for making more than double profit, and he is 30. tbh if were gonna be a better footballing side then we proberly needed to get rid of players like him, i wouldn't have liked to say it at the time but now i can see it not being a bad move for us. We need a player who can pass the ball now, dribble, and have a bite in the tackle and score the odd few goals.
the thing that concerns me the most is seeing David Sullivan say were on limited resources??????
linky
the board are worth £1billion combined, we should not be on limited resources. Unless we can pull of a few good signings then i can see us becoming the new Charlton Athletic.
Unfortunatly thats what happens in football today, all the money is at the big clubs, and unless you spend you will get nowhere, and the gap aat the top will get even bigger.
Come on board, back brucie and lets sign some top quality.

ps- has it ****ed anyone else off with luciano figueroa?

and atvkwkad, why don't you stop posting in our teams thread and go to yours, and yes, i was also at wembly 95, right infront off the legend himself paul tait, seeing him reveal that beaautiful t- shirt, and i was loving every second off it

Im genuinely not on a wind up here, but I bet you werent saying that about Savage when he was argubaly your key player, or when he was running the show in the games against us.

And yeah, sorry for posting in your thread - I'll make sure the Villa thread is the only football thread I ever post in again. Clearly Im not allowed an opinion on other clubs.

Gahaha ffs, Savage was a key player and you will do bugger all till you replace him with another player with the same bite in midfield and can rattle the opposition.

And wtf would you know about our club?
villa scum bag person, of course you can post in other clubs threads, just seems to me you take an extra notice in ours than you do in any other, even yours. And jason eull, yes he's ****, but no way we will sign him, and you can't exactly talk after signing stuart taylor, kevin phillips, aaron huges and patrick berger.
