I've never rated him 0- how can you? Oh he kept us in the premier? Yeah, by shoving 10 million quid down his throat to buy duggary with.

Then he signs him for real, 6 matches in he cant settle and he is sold.

AJ might have fell over 20 million times - but he still got more penalties than all of our strikers put together last season - and scored more goals other than from the spot.

Bruce aint got a clue when it comes to the transfer market.
I'm sorry mate, but we was going nowhere under TF a few years back. Brucie came in, took us from mid table division 1 on a great run at the back end of the season into the play offs and into the Premiership.

He signed devoted players, who he knew could do a job for us in Savage, Ciise, Upson, Clapham, Morrison, Clemence, Jonhson, Kena, Vickers etc.
All of who helped us to get in the prem and/or stay there.

Now in all fairness, AJ needed a fresh start, he would not be the played he is today if he was still at blues, no one can be blamed/predicted what has gone onto happen with him.
And at the time, how many of us bluenoses didn't want to re sign Dugarry? I think we all would of snapped him up.

Since then quality has been brought in such as Heskey, Izzet, Dunn, Pennant, Forssell etc.

Ok, we've had a bad season, we had an average 1 last season, but for gad sake, lets not turn into villa fans here, we have no DEVINE right to class ourselves established or that we should be challenging for a european place here.

Take a look back a few years ago at Paul Jewell, he was on the verge of getting the sack, he and Wigan were in all sorts of trouble, and look at where they are now.

I just hope the board release a few funds because Bruce has a decent track record, especially in January. With a full squad back, players coming back from injuires etc we should and hopefully will get better.

No team is to good to go down, but a bit of hunger, luck with injuries etc, then we will be fine.

kro.

I'm looking forward to the series of home games coming up, a really good chance for us to catch up to the rest of the group!

yes, we have West Ham and Fulham as our next to home games, 6 points is a real possibility.

However, till cause for concern. Last nights performance at Milwall bar the 1st half was again disasterous. No one willing to make themselevs available, show a bit of hunger, desire or have any drive in them.

Players luck Clemence and Butt are nver going to give us that, and I think were gonna have to stick Upson left back again as we still don't have a decent plaer for that position, Clapham is simply not good enough!

I just hope that Brucie will stick Dunn, Izeet and Kilkenny in the starting line up against West Ham on Monday, and hopefully big Emile will be fit.

Pandiani is a waste of space. He is a goalscorer, not a footballer. The trouble is he does not get the service so has to make thhings happen himself or for his team mates. Thtas his problem, he ent good enough to do that. The guy is a natural instinctive striker, thats all. Nothing special, not great on the ball by any means.
We are not creating enough to have him in the side in my opinion, so I reckon a 4-5-1 is the way to go until Forssell is fit and on form.

With a fired up Gray, pennant and Damien Johnson in the side there should be plenty of enery and bite there.

3 points is really a must this Monday night. Its ashame cos we have to watch over the weekend other teams pick up points which could put even more pressure on us.

But, our performances against Newcastle and Sunderland are reasons for optimism, aswell as making the 1/4's of the Carling Cup.

The surge needs to continu against West Ham though, a defeat, or even a point, would be so costly to our season.

Gypsy curse strikes again.

Seriously, when do 3 players get injured in the 1st 45 minutes?

The ball looks like it was over the line and it cleary could of been given out. Then the dirty goofy little Benayoun's shot lands straight to harewood ffs, its just a joke.

For all our dominance. possesion and chances in the 2nd half, we just couldn't get the bit of luck we deserved.

It's looking poor now, i don't think we can get out of it, especially with some of the fixtures we've got soming up. We may need to take a step backwards to go forwards.

Some positives, dunny is superb, a great player, and should be in the England squad, Emile the same. At times we just need to be more ugly in our style of play, more clinical and willing to hurt the opposition.

Never mind. Keep Right On Boys!

Dunn was excellent tonight, as was Pennant - shame about one or two others.

You just need a bit of grit I think, you look utterly bereft of confidence.

gray deserves to be shot, he's a disgrace to the blues shirt.

As for pennant, well, what a frustrating arse he is.

We need to get back to basics, get rid of Butt, Gray etc and get our old fight vack, thats the only way we are going to surive.

Looking to next season nd the Championship now tbh. Dunn, Heskey, Upson, Melchiot, Forssell, pennant etc will all fuk of and leave us with pennys to spend.

What now gents?

Another home defeat to a team we should be looking to beat comfortably...

Izzet, Taylor and Mario all out injured for the 'forseeable future'...

Not looking good is it?
