As it stands, that's a decent point about Savage, and the timing of his sale. Perhaps at the end of this season would have been when he would have been eased out anyway. His expertise at set-pieces has certainly been missed though, I'd suggest.

Of course, had we signed a proper replacement for Savs then I would feel happier. I do not believe Nafti is going to prove consistent enough to be that replacement, but hope I am proved wrong.

My question still stands though, how can anyone make an acuurate statement about a club of whom they see the occasional highlights of the goals from thier matches?
