Harsh decision imo, not saying i particularly like the guy but like has been said countless times already he worked wonders getting Derby up in the First place and was always fighting a losing battle to keep them up.

Yeah pretty much what everyone said about it being harsh, looking through squad he set a 3 year timeline for going up so he could get the quality & experience he needed to have a good fist at the premiership over a period of time & went up first time of asking and players didn't have the experience/ability to have a good fist at it.

Can't see anyone keeping them up unless some billionaire turns up on his magic carpet before January and appoints Mourinho or someone.

That said if it is Ince he was about 12 points adrift when he took over at Macclesfield and kept em up, though obviously this is an whole new level.
