Prem, and he achieved it in his 1st year, well done to him for that. The point of that plan however, was to allow him to gain more experience with the Derby players and better players. He's never managed
Prem before, he did well with Preston, and Derby, but he himself just is not ready for the top league. There's no point the Derby board saying "well he got us up 2 years early lets let him take us down and try again", they should do everything in their power to keep Derby up, even if that means dispensing with the man he worked miracles last year. A club's board aren't loyal to the manager, but to the team.
