Him, Assistant manager, first team coach (who doubles as a reserve team manager), one youth coach.
For four of his 6 years in charge we didnt even have a fitness coach or a goalkeeping coach. One thing is for sure, you wont have a backroom team cluttered with sports scientists, nutritionists etc, he doesnt believe in all that shizzle.
And linked to that, Bruce is apparatnly furious at the fitness of the squad - tbh they've not bee fit enough for the last 18 months - so it looks our fitness chap may get the boot too so he may join you too.

Derby manager thread. Billy Davies sacked. Paul Jewell in. Post #104
Hutchings (he was a left back in his playing time iirc) was goalkeeping coach for the first 3 or 4 years until Walsh came along. Fitness training, i am lead to believe, basically consisted of running laps of the pitch and a few weights.
Our fitness guy - Joey Gallanagh - iirc, only joined us full time at the beginning of last season before that we had never had one. Before that he had never worked in football - he was fitness chap at St Helens, then Wigan Warriors, who he left after falling out with the coach at the time - cant remember who it was tbh.

I wish Derby well, as I used to watch them at the Baseball Ground now and again in the early 90s when Dean Saunders was still there. Went to school with Arthur Cox's son, so got myself some free tickets.
However I don't think Jewell will keep them up because the players are just not good enough at this level.
