i remember last year i had to sit through the christmas special of doctor ****ing who. Absolutely shocking beyond belief, and that was supposedly "tv's biggest highlight" over christmas.

Quite want to see The History Boys. Motorcycle Diaries is rubbish by the way, read the book instead, much better.
Will watch Muppets Christmas Carol on Christmas' Eve.
Also have lots of 24, Scanner Darkley, Strings and a couple other things to watch that week. Not to mention a run through the Star Wars films and whatever other DVDs I still haven't got round to watching.
No doubt there will be a great Top Gear Special, and plenty of football to watch/MOTD etc.

Both the Gremlins movies will be on too
| I dont mind stuff like that as an option, probably not watch it but i havent seen it in ages so i dont mind it's on. I cant stand the stuff that is on every single year ... not your "classics" like Wizard of Oz either but you bleedin' Home Alone ... cant stand that kid |

I hope in the cinema there are some films that are 'fun for the family' and maybe include a bumbling father that is the slave to his job/boss and maybe even forgets his little kids presents, even though he promised to buy them on his way home from work for which he stayed late .... then he can somehow end up assisting Santa Claus in delivering presents, including taking his children on a wonderful journey and proving to them he's a great father. Perhaps even his boss could get a comedic comuppance !

Top Gear Special appears to be Richard Hammond Meets Evil Knevil - 8pm, BBC 2, Christmas Day.
Just noticed that Monty Python's Meaning Of Life is on New Years Eve
