Not opushing Brandon on anything really, would rather he make his own choices regarding stuff like that, but like him to try things. Seems to like the keyboard I got him, will hopefully move him onto piano once he is older.
Football was an obvious eventuality, but anything he has done regarding that has been one on one. Bought several smaller balls, of varying sizes, to allow him to build ball control and awareness. Seems to be picking up the basics, but tbh, with almost anything I do with him, I'm not sure if it's a case of enjoying the actual activity, or just the fact he gets to spend time with me. Time will tell I suppose.

me and the missus really want to start a family, but our situation isn't ideal so we're putting it off untill we feel we have everything in place.

plannedish, a bit earlier than we expected.
fairly skint as we had just got married, twas a honeymoon gift.
both were working, earning a fair bit, but had no savings whatsoever as we had spent that on the wedding.

No
Poor
Employed full time, but at just above minimum wage.
Tbh mate, there is no right time to start a family. Everyone will put fortrh a different arguement. Brandon wasn't meant, and we were on a fairly tight budget, but he has never gone without anything really, and seems well adjusted and happy. You just never know untill it happens, and you make it work. You have to, there is a little life dependant on you.

Grace is 9 months old, and has just started to crawl, well she gets around the room on her tummy.
Her favorite activity at the moment is crawling up to the video so she can look in the tape slot, naughty girl.
She eats most things but like finger foods.
She is very good at night and sleeps from 7pm until 6.30am.
Grace has a few words, DaDa, Mumma, Nanna and Bob, but don't ask me who Bob is.

yea you're probably right, we do really want kids but we're renting a 1 bedroom flat, have both recently started new jobs (and still in our probabtion period), have a collective debt of around 15k and that's before i even get into the whole my family issue (which i wont get into). So it's kinda obvious it aint the right time at the moment, but we really don't want to be waiting longer than a couple of years..
man i'm broody |
