CL Matchday 5 - Liverpool V FC Porto - Wednesday, 19.45pm, SS2
Despite every other side more or less being guaranteed qualification, its squeaky bum time for us. Defeat would, according to the sh*t-stirring media, spell almost certain DOOM for Rafa, what with us failing in the European Night Match League game that Hicks and Gillett rate so highly. So its lucky I've decided to dust off my thread making suit, give it a quick press and throw it on to guide us to near certain qualification
Team news injurywise is probably as you were, too soon for Agger, Alonso and Benayoun still 2-3 weeks off. Besides that we have almost a full sqwaaad to choose from.
However, with Babel's recent form I can see him pushing for a start, maybe in Lucas' place. Its also been a few games since Voronin started a match, and he scored twice for Ukraine against France on international duty, so he's in decent form too. Crouch probably to shockingly miss out again in that case, so gone in January
I'll take a 7-0 this time, don't want to be greedy.

Comfortable 2-0 win here so no drama. The big one is in Marseille tbh. Lots of positive "Rafa" chants and some good football. Crouch, Babel, Aurelio and Kewell to start please
