Like the idea of 160GB. If I didn't already have an 80, I'd get one of those just for future space (as it is I've hit 60 already and plenty more tracks that could go on if I wanted)

my friend said there was gonna be an ipod annoucement today, and i was hoping it would be the introduction of more tv programmes to download on itunes

It's this sort of thing that makes me hate Apple, despite how 'cool' their products are:

there is bound to be a hack out soon enough so you can convert existing mp3's into ringtones for free.

heh those players dont offer much more than whats already out there, basically you've got ipod gen5 with a big hard drive, a iphone with out a phone and a slightly reworked nano,

the only thing to have decent battery life is the Classic, you can get flash based players that have battery lives of upto 50 hours (Cowon D2), also Apple wont ever support Ogg, and even if they did its a big battery drainer

Of course, but it's the way they operate in the first place that annoys me. Don't get me wrong, I own an iPod and I would use Macs if they weren't so pricey/lack of games but this sort of thing just annoys me.
